shiny_presentation's Introduction

# Shiny Presentation

This `git` repository holds the presentation I gave to the InveRnessRUG on 20/06/16. The actual presentation is the `starter_for_shiny.Rmd` file and you will need the `shiny`, `DT`, `knitr` and `dplyr` packages installed to run it. To install these packages you can copy and paste the following into `R`.

```{r, eval = F}
install.packages("shiny", "DT", "dplyr", "knitr")
```

I have also included three `shiny` apps:

- `demo_app`: is the basic app.
- `action_button_demo`: is the app that demonstrated using `actionButton()` and `isolate()` to control reactivity
- `submit_demo`: is the app that demonstrated using `submitButton()` to control all reactivity.
