androsc's Issues

problem with PAD

Hi, great project, very nice and simple interface !

I got a problem with the PAD.
I thought it was supposed to send two arguments (x and y positions), but when i get the osc message sent by the PAD, both argument give me the value of x position. I can't get the y pos.

(I hope my message is clear, i'm not fluent in english)

Custom Widgets

Great app. Thanks for making open source things. I'd like to make a template that I can use like the pitch and mod wheels of a synthesizer or midi controller, but it would need the slider to reset to the center value when released to be really useful. The app Control (OSC+MIDI) allows javascripts in the template json files which open up a whole world of possibilities like this. Is something like this possible for androsc? Your app is much cleaner and less buggy than Control but I need some more customizability.

Control is also open source if it would help you to look at it. I know very little about android programming so I can't do much good with the source. Source at https://github.com/charlieroberts/Control

[feature] Add some scriptable possibilties as changing dest IP address

Hi,

I like your app, and I've thought about some features which can be really cool.

I would like to be able to add some particular functions for some buttons as changing the destination IP address or port destination. With that I could manage multi OSC devices like 50 raspberry pi !

If you can develop someting like this it's could be realy nice !

Snap to grid

It would be advantageous to be able to position items on a grid. I aligning items difficult and have to type in their positions in the properties table. Having a configurable snap to grid would be good.

Doesn't work properly with QLC+

Im trying to use AndrOSC (0.9.4) with QLC+, but it doesn't work properly.
All controls are recognized as buttons exempt the pad.
The pad is recognized as 2 Sliders, but the sliders down receive the right values.
The sliders values are recognized only with the min and max value (some times).

I used the default Layouts.

Best regards

[Feature] Zoom

I would like the ability to zoom so I can make larger control surfaces and zoom into each section. This would allow me to merge my 3 different templates for the same console. Cool app, useful for my ETC Element lighting console!

Control s move when selected

I find each control moves a little when one touches it to select it unless one is extremely careful with their tap. It would be advantageous to have some stickiness so that a control did not move until it had been held for a short time.

Buttons and Toggles Problem

Hi AndrOSC !

Amazing project ... love it from the first sight !

I'm having troubles to configure the OSC address of buttons and toggles.
Even i edit the widget address i keep receiveing always a "button" or "toggle" as address ...
I just edit the field, save and close the widget and play ... and doesn't work ?

Am i doing something wrong ?

Thanks !

[Feature] Encoder Wheel

I would like a new control, an encoder wheel. It would send a command after being ticked one way, and a different command the other way.

Menu pops out whenever phone is woken up

Hello. Whenever I wake up my phone running AndrOSC the menu on the left slides into view. This interferes with the controls - I feel it would be better if it did not appear so that controls could be operated immediately without having to tap the screen an extra time dismiss this menu first.

Remember last used template

Each time I start aOSC I must open the template I want. To use It would be advantageous for the last used template to be remembered and opened on next use.

[Feature] Import Image

I would like the ability to import an image for the app background. Say, I could use it to take a picture of my console and put faders and buttons over the ones in the picture.

Unable to set negative values for sliders

It would be advantageous to be able to use negative values in for the slider ranges. An example is controlling the transport speed in Ardour which accepts values from -8 to +8, representing speeds in forward and reverse directions.

AndrOSC adds quotation marks around OSC arguments

Hi,
Tried the app, the interface is great and simple

But OSC messages sent from AndrOSC reach as the default (/push , /button , etc..)
and the OSC message doesn't go through.

ive used your other app - quickOSC , it was great,
ill be happy to see this one working as well.

Best

Change Font Size

screenshot_2015-03-09-23-22-35
I'm using a 5.5inch device (LG G3) and the writings on the button are really small. Is it possible to add an option for changing it? In the meanwhile, can someone help me finding how to change it one time before compiling? Thx
