It looks like it is not possible to switch to slave mode

Hi:
thanks for your container first,but I'm having some trouble in setting it up
here is my salve's docker-compose.yml

version: '3.3'
services:
    smokeping:
        volumes:
            - './config:/etc/smokeping'
            - './data:/var/lib/smokeping'
        ports:
            - '81:80'
        container_name: helanarm4c
        image: aheimsbakk/smokeping
        environment:
            MODE: slave
            MASTER_URL: http://ip:port/smokeping/smokeping.cgi
            SHARED_SECRET: /etc/smokeping/slavesecrets.conf
            SLAVE_NAME: helanarm4c

here is the config in slave's container(/etc/default/smokeping):
