dwservice's Issues

Start of agent from ssh session

I want to start the agent (on a Mac) from an ssh session.
This is what I have tried:

sudo /Library/DWAgent/native/dwagsvc start

The agent starts, and I can login through the web interface, add files from the text editor, the web terminal works... but I cannot open a Screen. There is nothing to choose form in the Desktop selection.

My guess is that only the Desktop from which the agent was started, can be accessed through the web service.

Is there any way I can grab the current local desktop, after starting the agent itself from elsewhere? I tried starting it without sudo, and as the same user who's logged in in the current GUI session, to no av.

Settings for Shell Terminal

I'm not sure if 'issues' is the right place to log this as I'm an open source newbie, but it would be great if there were features for display settings for the terminal shell option to interact with hosts, like setting a dark mode or even better, themes like you can in terminal for Linux/macOS etc.

Update for the Raspberry Pi XWayland issue on dwservice.net

Hi, I found your post here and I was not able to find /etc/gdm3/custom.conf to edit it on Bookworm X64.

But I found this post https://help.realvnc.com/hc/en-us/articles/4417193011857-How-do-I-disable-Wayland-to-use-RealVNC-Connect-#ubuntu-and-rhel-centos-0-3

Rapsberry Pi OS
Open Terminal on the Pi, or connect to it using SSH
Run the command: sudo raspi-config
Select Advanced Options, then select Wayland
Select X11 and confirm
Reboot the Pi when prompted

And that allowed dwservice.net to view the remote desktop.

I stop seeing the mouse after a while

Hello. I have linux and firefox. I connect to a client and after a while i stop seeing the mouse, only the shadow or the hover selection, but not the mouse. Any ideia what is causing this?

Support for Wayland?

I am aware that Wayland is not supported yet, but is wayland support being worked on?
