valheim-toggle-movement-mod's Issues

bug: sprint toggle sometimes "flicker"

Hey, been playing with the new version of the mod on our dedicated server and all the changes you made were well received -- people had been complaining about the various things (e.g. crouching while transferring items to chests haha) and all of these are gone.

There's one remaining complaint which I hadn't reported earlier because I wasn't sure yet if it was ToMoMo-induced: sometimes, the sprint toggle will "flicker" when you try to enable it.

Say, you are currently auto-running, and you try to toggle sprint on: it toggles on and then off immediately (we see the stamina bar flashing color changes immediately), as if either it was "double tapping" the toggle, or as if the toggle was "invisibly on" and we were toggling it off instead of on. When in this state, it will generally be stuck for a good number of attempts, until it works again.

Multiple users (including myself) have experienced this, but so far we haven't been able to find neither a reliable reproduction cause, neither a reliable workaround / fix... ๐Ÿ˜•

Putting it out here just in case you have an idea already, and otherwise will report back if we do find something.

Major Issues

So toggling AutorunToggle off disable autorun entirely when the tip specifies that this option only toggles whether autorun follows the cursor or not.

SprintToggle for toggling whether the sprint key is a toggle or hold-key does not work at all.

SprintAlternate does not function.

typing in chat still triggers mod keybinds

Hey, thanks for your mods!

When typing in the chat, mod keybinds are still registered (example: type Q and the autorun will trigger). Ideally keybinds would not get registered when input is grabbed by the chat, like the regular game keybinds. This would avoid both doing things you didn't mean to when trying to chat, and allow to chat while the autorun is doing its thing ๐Ÿ˜„

feature request: add config option to disable sprinting when coming to a halt

Hey,

In vanilla, the auto-run option (which functions as a sprint toggle) automatically disables sprinting when the character comes to a halt, e.g. you start moving, toggle sprint, then stop giving movement orders WASD => at this point if you resume movement orders, sprint is not enabled.

I would personally like it if ToMoMo had a config option to do the same, i.e. disable sprint on halt, as I find it more natural and is something I'm more used to both from Valheim vanilla and also from other games ๐Ÿ˜„
