Description

When the app is closed (before opening it, or after swiping it in the task manager) push notifications are not displayed even though they are received (i can see them in adb log - "reject to launch app for (....) RECEIVE"). I know this behaviour is expected from a theoretical point of view, meaning that android is supposed to reject notifications for a closed app if there's not any active listener but doesn't the plugin have a listener, or how can I implement one ? Does anybody have the same question ?

Trying with onesignal plugin, everything works. Maybe there's something im not doing right with this plugin ?

This plugin hasn't been updated to use the latest version of cordova, and some of the platforms we can probably drop (like firefoxos, windows platform etc.)

Working solution for me

My solution was to change the dependency in the config.xml of the plugin to:

checkout here: https://github.com/vstirbu/PromisesPlugin

Expected Behavior

aerogear-cordova-push plugin should get installed

Actual Behavior

no able to install plugin
