In New Toot window, patterns appear slightly to the right of the pattern selector button

Spurious error during sign-in to WebSockets

The WebSocket connection is established before a Toot is chosen, but currently gives a spurious failure (or several) before a successful connection is established, possibly due to a race condition with the Firebase authentication. This usually goes away after about 5s.

UltraToot construction fails

Toot pattern color does not apply correctly to Hearts pattern in New Toot panel.

Calendar app shows “Hallowe'en” as “Hallowe”

Emoji menu clean-up

Some of the emoji multi-part characters were split up into multiple spans, leaving weird gaps in the emoji menu.

The first sky update shows stars regardless of time.

The sky should be blue during the day.

RFE: return to login screen when pop-ups close and not logged in

When the player has not signed in, they can still activate some pop-up controls, like the Control Panel. This could be intentional — eg, to activate full screen mode — or accidental, eg, connecting a gamepad.
When these pop-ups are closed, the login box should re-appear.
