I took your demo and added some code in timerAction:

sView1.minValue = value1
sView1.reloadMeter()

Expected result: "arrow" always points at the minimal value.
Actual result: "arrow" points at random values, which sometimes are outside the [min, max] interval.

Why is it needed: look at any "live" diagram with frequently updated values. For example bitcoin diagram:

When you zoom in or zoom out the diagram adjusts its min/max values. Because on zoom in the chart bars are too small and on zoom out there values outside [min, max] may appear.
Additionally it shows that all the values are inside [min, max] during a defined span of time.

Any help appreciated.
