Currently int and bool values are supported for constant behavior registers. It would be nice if hex values are also supported.

E.g.

- address: 0
  name: hi
  behavior: constant
  value: 0xc0fefe

Currently, the width of the address field for the AXI4-lite aw/ar channels are fixed at 32-bits.

For some use-cases, it is desirable if we could set the address width to something else.

From a quick scan of the specification, there seems to be no restrictions on the AXI4 address width.

How to generate code for C, C++ or Python accessing the registers? I have installed the latest version from PyPI, but it looks like the vhdmmio has no parameters to generate files for these languages.

Does vhdmmio support constants and expressions? For example, I would like to define two module constants X and Y, and then I would like to calculate different values utilizing these constants in the expressions.

Is there any publication on vhdMMIO that one can cite in papers, or anything else that you would like one to reference except GitHub vhdmmio url?
