howtheytest's Issues

Spotify https://engineering.atspotify.com/* are not working

links open in same tab

I was expecting all links to open in a new tab so that I wouldn't lose my place in the list of testing articles. Can we add target="_blank" to all links?

Markdown doesn't really support this natively, so links would need to be written as html.

Maybe this is more trouble than it's worth ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Typo for Google's subsection

Hey!

Just wanted to point out a typo under the Google section:

'provide insights into testing at Google in their (slighlty outdated) 2012'

Cheers!

Add Year Date to the article if possible?

Thanks for this awesome project first! It does help me a lot! However, there is a problem that annoys me when I use this project. Not sure if others have the same issue as me.

My problem is that some of the links are old(outdated) content, but we have no way to know which year the content links to is. The only way is to click and find out the blog post date on the linked page.

Current

Proposal
Add a date field for each link.

Benefit
With this change, users are able to see which content is new and which is old(probably outdated). I guess a lot of users may be misled if they are not aware of the date of the content. We are here for learn the trends and how others testing now, not past.

Software Testing Trends 2021 โ€“ What can we expect?

With the latest developments in IT sector services, the sector of QA testing has seen significant improvement and growth. The implementation of emerging technologies has helped improve the process of software development, testing, design and deployment. With all of these processes in place, cost optimization is also a high concern for organizations worldwide.

Many changes are rendered through automated testing. From AI to ML, the shifting technology world is constantly innovating and making significant progress. Are you aware that the scale of the app testing industry in 2019 was over USD$ 40 billion? And is projected to rise by more than 6 percent at CAGR(Compound Annual Growth Rate) between 2020 and 2026?
