sr's Issues

Why it says "Is Supported: False" ?

Hi Abhishek,
I'd like to use your code for my own project (why reinvent the wheel) and when I build it for my Android
it says at the top "Is Supported: False". Does it mean that certain Android version won't run it ? My test device
runs Android 8 (Oreo). I checked the source code but it's not obvious from the code why it shows False.
Do I need newer version of Android for it to work ?

stt not working in android 11

I've tried using this in my app and it worked alright almost all the time upto android 10 but when Itried the same in 11 it isn't working i.e. it isn't able to recognize my voice at all.

Question not issue

Hi, well done with your SR. I am trying to understand why the listener stops after about 5s when nothing is said. I read that there was no maximum time for the Android listener and I don't see anythimg in your code that set this logic. Thanks in advance for your explanation.

Not an issue, rather question

Abhishek, in which case the program will throw "NotImplemented" exception ? It's not very clear from the source code.
I had it working yesterday but today I'm getting the exception.

From traceback I can see that exception is being triggered by this private method:

def _start(self):
        raise NotImplementedError

Thank you for clearing things up for me.

Stt exception Attribute Error.

Stt works alright for most part but I get this attribute error in android when I try to start it repeatedly:

File "jnius/jnius_proxy.pxi", line 156, in jnius.jnius.invoke0
07-18 10:51:15.628 13011 13011 I python : File "jnius/jnius_proxy.pxi", line 124, in jnius.jnius.py_invoke0
07-18 10:51:15.629 13011 13011 I python : AttributeError: 'list' object has no attribute 'invoke'

It's not easy to see this error in logs as kivy app stops immediately only in some cases we can see this log.
