This may just be something that requires a documentation change, but the omission of openid in the list of requested scopes means that the fetching of OpenID information in the raw_info method fails with an authorization error when calling access_token.get("https://#{accounts_domain}/v1/openid_connect/userinfo").

Is this repository abandoned? No updates in 4 years, stale open PRs and out of date with omniauth. Looks like people are forking to get the features they need.

Are you wanting to bring this library up to date? If not, would you be willing to transfer ownership to somone who is? Perhaps one of the maintainers of one of the forks?
