Fundify is a comprehensive crowdfunding platform that allows users to engage in various types of crowdfunding campaigns, including donation-based, reward-based, and equity-based crowdfunding. This README file specifically covers the backend of the Fundify application.

Getting Started

To run the Fundify backend locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/Abdi-Tiruneh/Fundify-Backend.git
  2. Install the dependencies: cd fundify-backend && npm install
  3. Configure the environment variables:
    • Create a .env file in the root directory of the project.
    • Set the necessary environment variables such as database connection details, Stripe API keys, etc.
  4. Start the server: nodemon .\src\server.ts
  5. The backend server should now be running at http://localhost:5000.

Note: This is a basic setup guide, and you may need to make adjustments based on your specific environment and deployment requirements.
