active-flow's Issues

Testing routine

The testing routine should be addressed at two scales

  1. unite testing
This should handle the verification of the functions are working as expected, the kind of testing is function dependent where there is not a general recipe one can follow. However we can provide some guidelines:

    • Test only edge cases, not regular.
    • The test should only capture mis/faulty behaviour of the function, not errors.
  2. workflow testing
This should handle the verification of the workflow/s is/are working as expected. Considering each workflow:

    • simulation
This can be done by using simple and computationally cheap model problem.
    • steady_state_analysis
      Placeholder
    • extrema_search
      Placeholder
    • hyperuniformity_analysis
      Placeholder

Radial Distribution Function

The design of the function can follow the design in the radial profile function that can be found in the file ./src/active_flow/hyperuniformity_analysis/algorithm_tasks.py

Migrate workflows to airflow frameworks

This multistage issue where each workflow should pass some validation process to consider the migration successful.

Hence this issue should not handled unless a proper testing routine is built.
