fencehouston's Introduction

FenceHouston

You can add a geofence by long pressing anywhere on the map. (Needs testing).

fencehouston's Issues

App crashes on initialized

As soon as you run the app from Android studio or your phone, the app crashes. I have tried it with the "Preventing Notification Spam" branch and it only crashes when i open the map, so that's definitely the problem.

Map gets refreshed causing notification spam.

I think the refresh happens when a circle gets drawn, the map then gets called which loads the logic to create a geofence which then spams the notification again (Thanks to Aaron for pointing out the refresh).

Need to separate some logic, maybe in another class.

Positions are not remembered.

Positions get reset with each call to the map. Again probably because when the map gets called it redraws and creates everything from scratch again. Probably need to start saving stuff.

Conflicts with Loading/Initializing Parse

Might just be me, some aspect of Loading/Initializing Parse in both Main and Maps Activity causes crashing.

Removing from one fixes crash when leaving the app but then removing from the other seems to add crash when going back to app.

Removal Code (Doesn't exactly work)

Circles are not getting removed not sure why. Haven't really tested to see that GeoFences get removed either.

Code for removing circles is supposed to be CiricleObject.remove();
I added an allCiricles array list to contain a list of all circles that gets added.
Maybe the array has an offset some.
I'm also not getting all circles to draw from art and charging stations. Might be related, not sure if just me.
