Upgrade markup
- Semantic markup from XHTML to HTML5
- CSS to use inline blocks instead of table cells – no need to calculate viewport size
Make thumbnails clickable
Remove notes from main display; leave dates and names. Make figure widths narrower.
Set callback on thumbnails to pop up full-size display with notes.
Convert from XML to JSON
XML falling from favour. Convert gallery.xml to gallery.json and replace gallery.xsl with ES6 code in gallery.js
Remove IE JavaScript if not required by Edge browser
Ie withdraw support for IE.
