First of all, thanks for sharing those features.

I recently equipped myself with an A800S and from all the research I've done so far,
I cannot use it for parking surveillance without the hardware kit.
I'm okay with buying and installing it, but its cutoff voltage is 11,4 V and I've seen people
complain they fail to start their cars after leaving them parked for a week or so.

I found some info regarding the A800 (without the 'S') that it was able to record parking
videos with an earlier FW (got disabled later by 70mai...) and people who used that old FW
were happy to make use of the cam's 500 mah battery and not worry about their car batteries.

I did went though all of the 8 issues in your repo and got some initial plans how to check if
using the camera internal battery for parking surveillance is possible on the A800S,
but wanted to ask if you have done any research on this topic as well?

Maybe the problema is for my side, but after update to this version, the sound for the ADAS warning are the same (voice warnings)

there is neceesary some aditional setting using an script? for having beeps

The camera just keeps on restarting when I place the autorun_logo script and the logo.

After loading a new logo.jpg the cam stuck in bootloop with a greenish broken screen content. Since than I cannot run any other autorun script as a means to fix the issue, so practically the cam is bricked. Please help me find a solution, also please place a warning on logo update saying this can happen (unless it can be easily fixed, in which I have not yet succeeded)

Not really an issue, but... Is there any way to mount /consumer folder with RW permissions? I would like to translate the JSON file for the texts and some .wav files

After executing the factory reset in the menu, WIFI tethering is not possible so that 70 mai setting is not possible at all.
(WIFI name does not appear, I can connect the device via wifi tethering.)

How can I recover in this case?

How do I increase the volume of the audio recording?

I have unzipped the 50MBIT firmware file and copied the .bin file to the main folder of the SD card, added a .jpg logo according to the README plus the log and setup scripts. When I reboot, it goes into firmware update mode and eventually it says "Updated failed. Rebooting..." and nothing changed. I have double checked the .bin file is properly unzipped and byte-wise copied over the SD card. The scripts and the logo never came into play. I assume your new FW makes use of them but since it never installed it never came to execute them.

I have already have the latest 1.0.19ww OTA firmware installed on the device from the official app. Perhaps this is why it doe not want to install a new one?

Inspecting the code of the script to replace the logo, I see that what it does is to replace a file in the camera's file system.

Can this replacement be done via ftp at any time? Or does it have to be done during camera startup and that's why a script is used?

I was thinking of replacing the audio files, to make ADAS less annoying, and to fix some mistranslation into my language.

It might also be interesting to replace some of the icons.

Hi, I'd really like to have custom firmware for my camera, but I'm hesitant on installing just a binary without source code. I'm also curious how it works, because I have some ideas I'd like to see in my camera software (like connecting to an existing network instead of creating a hotspot). Could you share the source code as well?

I really like the firmware with all disctrete tones, but I cant hear the tone for the "70mai_font_car_start.wav" even when there is quiet in the car. On High Speaker level, I can hear a faint Poping sound, when the camera detects the vehicle ahead moving. For test I have enabled the other two options in ADAS, for Lane departure and Collision warning. They are strong enough even on Low speaker level.
Can you replace the sound of "70mai_font_car_start.wav" with "70mai_lane_departure.wav" or something similar?

Hi, I bought my device 2 weeks ago. And now version 1.0.19ww is installed on it. I copied the file FORCEUPD.txt and FW_DR2800.bin to the SD card, turned off the camera, put the memory in the device and turned on the device, it went to the firmware installation mode and said to wait for the installation to finish. At the end, an error message appeared which said that the firmware installation was not successful and then the device was restarted. I checked inside the device, it shows the same firmware as 1.0.19ww and I don't know if the installation was successful or if it was not installed at all. Can you please advise?

i have a800s at 1.0.19ww official fw and then i try your fw to FW_DR2800_1.0.14ww and FORCEUPD.txt on this folder it update success and work just fine check the version is 1.0.14 and then i try update to FW_DR2800_50MBIT at first use FORCEUPD.txt on your root project that not work update fail and dsahcam restart same version at 1.0.14ww so next i use FW_DR2800 on FW_DR2800_50MBIT and use FORCEUPD.txt file on "FW_DR2800_1.0.14ww" folder and this update working and it boot on to record and menu work fine and then after 3mins on recording it shut it self up and nothing happen even i try plug it again with or without memory card or different cable input ac it just gone no LED i do try press power button for 5 or 10 sec or 60 sec there is nothing boot up
can you help or figure this out please i don't hear any sound of explosive or smell like burnt capacitor... nothing

I have a 70mai_X200 firmware, which can trigger the flashing of the LED light band when parking monitoring. I hope that when triggering the LED light band, the expression of the screen will be lit at the same time.
