On adding:
store.dispatch(addCharacterById(2));

inside the index.js file is giving the following error:

Error: Actions must be plain objects. Use custom middleware for async actions.

Could you please suggest what's the work around for the above line of code.

Great tutorial David! I have completed the Recipe Finder project but I noticed that when I favorite a recipe and go to the Favorites page, then go back to the Home page, my favorited recipes are no longer marked as favorite. If I click on their star buttons again, they are favorited again, generating duplicate favorites on the Favorites page. How can we persist the state through our routes so that the favorited dishes remain marked as favorite? I have tried using react-router-redux but it didn't do anything (I must be missing something). Thanks!

First many errors is what you teach , for instance, NEVER usr the map second argument, index to create a key. class based component should be used way less offend . and other stuff also... Great energy still.
