DESCRIPTION

This is a VCD (Verilog Value Change Dump) comparison tool, with only minimal changes based on the original version created by Pragmatic C Software Corp to make it suitable for use by Verilator's self tests; see:

http://verilator.org/verilator

This version is currently intended to only provide the minimum functions needed for Verilator testing and remains as close to the original as possible. Other applications will probably want a more full-featured version of vcddiff, see e.g.

INSTALLATION

make
# Copy the binary into a location of your choice
cp -p vcddiff /usr/local/bin/vcddiff
