• need to make the example app interactive enough to test the library features

The package description itself indicates that "this plugin(shared preferences) must not be used for storing critical data". It is best fitted for in-app preferences.
Suggestion:
Flutter secure storage or encrypted hive box could be used to store the sensitive data.

• need to add installation and locally running guide
• an explanation on how to modify the code and add new features

Whoever is reading this, plz note that I need a detailed PR template asking for:

• why this change is required
• is this tested, how?
• will this affect any functionality?
• is this backward compatible?

something like this and in detail... this is just an example... and plz ask to contribute first... I'll assign it to you, otherwise it might get assigned to someone else or maybe I'll do it myself, which will result in wasting your own time 🙂 So plz do LMK before doing it

Enhancement Suggestion:

• Handle sending body with delete requests which http.client out of the box don't allow.
  This will help users of the package to get that functionality out of the box and it will also help in making it a one-stop solution for all API management demands.

• need the README.md a bit informative - having some installation guide, how to use and all
