Forking this repo, I followed the instructions on the documentations, but was hit with an error that told me some of the packages needed to be installed.

Running npm install before npm run fixed the issue and allows all packages to be installed. Updating the documentation with this will allow the user to have better experience using the app.

We made a new team repo, can't pull from new team repo to original 100Devs repo.

If you update Mongoose from v5 to v8.1 application no logner works

Only post/:id seems to be protected with authentication.

It is possible to use postman or thunder client to make requests to the /post endpoints without being logged in.

perhaps moving the ensureAuth to server.js as middleware before all post routes would fix it.

maybe this is covered in the classes and I missed something though.
