A simple chat app that allows real-time communication between multiple users, using Express, Firebase, and Socket.io.

1. Clone the repository

git clone  https://github.com/0xsarwagya/Real-Time-Chat-App.git

2. Navigate to the project directory

cd Real-Time-Chat-App

3. Install the dependencies

npm install

4. Create a firebaseAdminConfig.json file in the project directory and enter your Firebase service account credentials in it.

5. Replace the <DATABASE URL> in the index.js file with your Firebase database URL.

6. Start the app

npm start

7. Visit http://localhost:5000 in your browser to use the chat app.
