eclipsa's Issues

"PWND:[eclipsa]" is not added to serial string after exploiting device with latest commit

The latest commit which is supposed to add "PWND:[eclipsa]" to the devices serial string seems to not be working, at least for me on my 6s (CPID 8000). Checking with "irecovery -q" after running Eclipsa shows that "PWND:[eclipsa]" does not get added after a successful exploitation.

This isn't really a huge issue, as the device is still able to accept custom images, but it would be useful to have working as it would allow for other tools to properly detect whether or not a Eclipsa device has been exploited already or not :)

Doesn’t work on A8x

I have tried a lot but I haven’t been successful on A8x. Works fine on A8. iPad Air 2 always turns on when the command is sent. How can we solve this. Please help. Thanks

Add PWND string to serial number

Any chance this patch could be added? Would be useful for easily checking whether a DFU device is actually in Pwned DFU or not.

How to write to A9 SecureROM's memory?

Hey 0x7ff,
this isn't really issue. I'm curious how did you manage to write to A9 srom. After A8 srom is read-only. Does this method consists of disabling WXN or something else? I saw eclipsa's shellcode but I don't understand it at all. I would like to apply same trick to ipwndfu for personal purposes. Sorry for my knowledge.
Thanks in advance
