frescodemo's Introduction

Description

A demo use Fresco to load image and base on Chris Banes' s Android Design library

It seems that not very perfect by loading GIF with progressbar, I think may be after the image downloaded, it needs much time to handle the GIF and show it.

SubsamplingScaleImageView appear a problem like this:Bitmap too large to be uploaded into a texture (440x4390, max=4096x4096), If the image is too large. So I use PooledByteBuffer instead of CloseableImage.

    bytes = dataSource.getResult();
    PooledByteBuffer pooledByteBuffer = bytes.get();
    PooledByteBufferInputStream sourceIs = new PooledByteBufferInputStream(pooledByteBuffer);
    BufferedInputStream bis = new BufferedInputStream(sourceIs);
    //TODO something

frescodemo's Issues

when use PooledByteBuffer Issue

The code in fresco BaseControllerListener 's onFinalImageSetmethod

bytes = dataSource.getResult();
if (bytes != null) {
    ......

when load a largebitmap once ,then bytes alway return null.
it just happen when the image is too large.

Error inflating fragment

I have an error inflating the fragment, though I use the following xml code, as in the sample app :

<com.facebook.drawee.view.SimpleDraweeView
        xmlns:fresco="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"
        android:id="@+id/picture"
        android:layout_width="match_parent"
        android:layout_height="300dp"
        fresco:placeholderImage="@color/background" />
