Opkgc - OSCAR Packages Compiler
===============================

opkgc is a tool, written in Python and Cheetah templates, which
transform an OSCAR [1] package description into RPM or Debian
packages.

Requirements
------------

opkgc depends on:
- Python (>= 2.4)
- lxml
- Cheetah template engine
- dblatex (for PDF documentation)
- xmlto (for HTML doc and manpages)

Configuration
-------------

opkgc can be configured with the opkgc.conf file. This file use the
syntax defined by the ConfigParser module in Python [2].
opkgc looks for the configuration in the following places:
order (the last available will be the right one):
1/ /etc/opkgc.conf
2/ ~/.opkgc
3/ ./opkgc.conf

Build the Debian Package
------------------------
dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc
