Hi there, I tried to create a PR to no avail, but this problem seems to be related to a spelling mistake in the supportedPassiveTypes in index.js.
const supportedPassiveTypes = [ 'scroll', 'whell', 'touchstart', 'touchmove', 'touchenter', 'touchend', 'touchleave', 'mouseout', 'mouseleave', 'mouseup', 'mousedown', 'mousemove', 'mouseenter', 'mousewheel', 'mouseover' ];
Renaming "whell" to "wheel" should fix this error.

However, doing this removes the error, but on chrome I still get the following message:
Added non-passive event listener to a scroll-blocking 'wheel' event.

Unfortunately this bug occurs in Google Maps Javascript API which was a blocker for me, so I allowed myself to add PR fixing it (#18).
