This patch worked, but created another bug.
If you go past the first "no result found" (ie. type 'down' two times), the highlighted zone (in red) disappear.

I don't know if it's the expected behaviour, but keeping the search string in red when no result is found and the user tries to go further seems to be a better way to handle this situation.

Good catch. Fixed for up-arrow also in a23cfbb.
