I'm sure we'll run into other limitations. We might want to consider putting a full-featured pandoc-rendered version online once we 'finish' a first edition, and just keep using GitHub Pages for drafting.

"Mastering Zotero" link. I guess I messed around too much.

Oh, duh, apparently my changes made it to the individual post pages: http://zotero-manual.github.io/zotero-manual/tags . I'll just have to edit index.html in the root folder as well.

Yeah, I like it too. Having the "Mastering Zotero" title switch color (to the same color as "View on GitHub") for the chapter pages makes it much clearer that it turned into a link.
