Hi @tchibatron, it seems that the problem is really caused by the presence of a Flyway bean in the spring context.
The bean is probably not created by you but by Spring Boot's auto-configurations. Currently, the org.flywaydb:flyway-core dependency is part of the embedded database library and that activates the org.springframework.boot.autoconfigure.flyway.FlywayAutoConfiguration, which creates a new Flyway bean if missing. Unfortunately, the flyway dependency cannot be excluded, so you need to add spring.flyway.enabled=false property to your spring configuration to deactivate the flyway auto-configuration. After this step it should start working.
In the future, it is planned to make all flyway dependencies optional (#21), which should solve this problem.
