It was never meant to open your browser every time vs just alert you, I think there was an issue with the previous version. The latest from the tests I've done when its released should no longer have that issue.

#416, when that gets merged, may stop your issue, though I'll leave this open in case.
But no 1.2.2 cannot disable that if its the issue I am thinking of.
However, you could add a windows firewall rule to block all internet access to the app, as nothing else we have is internet enabled.

I believe this should be fixed, we also have a tauri version now that you can ignore updates until the next update comes out too :)
