Ideally, you should issue a wipe()
command before the model definition and after the recorder
command to close them.
ops.wipe() # wipes the previous data
define model here
ops.recorder(----)

Hey, thanks for your comment on the recorder. That fix looks workable - I'll do a bit of testing and see if I can roll that out on the next update.
For your second comment, I suspect you need to issue a wipe command before you try to read the OBD. This releases the files and allows access.
i.e.
ops.wipe()

This is a known behavior. Right now we rely on the user clearing the model themselves, as opposed to doing it for them.
I think it's overall safer this way, but maybe the messaging needs to be clearer about it.
