thats how its done right any help with this would realy make my day

Not a hcxtools issue.
After conversion by hcxpcaptool you must select the wanted PMKIDs from 16800 hashfile by hand.
You can use wlanhcx2ssid to retrieve wanted handshakes from a hccapx file.
