Roetem is mostly an experiment to evaluate RethinkDB as a realtime data backend. There are many more things to consider for a realtime fullstack framework, (e.g. authorization, write control, latency compensation...) and most importantly, a complete solution already exists (Meteor). Also I don't have enough time to maintain another big project as of now.

What I might do in the future is to reduce the scope of the project a bit and make it a simple library to be used in existing projects.

Meteor is awesome framework that can solve realtime issues.
But I think that Meteor is too big framework.

Like Express, I wish that Roetem is made a realtime framework that have lightweight and pluggable.

I could understood this project is just experiment, but I think it will be useful for prototyping, and handy for Meteor beginners.

I think that by using RethinkDB, it's more scalable than Meteor as the op-log and merge box can be bottlenecks.
