Can you check using the Chrome Inspector in the network tab whether elasticsearch is returning the highlight data?

I checked and apparently there is no highlight data.
I initialized the eui-highlight as:
< div eui-highlight="ejs.Highlight(field).preTags('').postTags('')" eui-enabled="true" >
After this I perform a search with eui-query from an input field, activating it after clicking the submit button.

In the request, is the highlight part of the query sent to elasticsearch?

I found that the issue lies in the data structure since the attribute i want to highlight is like: data.content, then when i call:
< div eui-highlight="ejs.Highlight('field').preTags('').postTags('')" eui-enabled="true" >
with field between ' ', then highlight data is returned however, when I want to access it, it doesn't show anything:
{{doc.highlight.data.content[0]}}

However when i highlight an attribute that doesn't have children, then eui-highlight works perfect

Iterating twice with ng-repeat solves temporarily the problem, at least for my actual scope, but it is not a good solution
