License clarification about yi HOT 5 OPEN

It's GPL2-only, changing it would be quite an effort, because all contributors would have to agree.

Please may we get the ball rolling on upgrading, even if it takes a while? I'd love to fork the project but GPL2-only, whilst a strong license, is relatively weak and vulnerable compared to GPL2-or-later.
