1. The content comes from wherever you want.
2. Yes, this plugin handles a variety of content - images, HTML, text, etc. If it's in a div, it is acceptable.
3. Again you ask about where content comes from - wherever you want, see the demo/index.html file for usage example.
4. There is no connection to Wordpress. That is intentional. My goal here is to keep it simple & basic, and framework-agnostic. But feel free to whip it into a Wordpress plugin, I'd like to do that myself when I have excess time on my hands.
5. Will it load all data into memory - I don't understand the question. Are you asking whether it downloads ALL the content, versus pulling the indiviual items asynchronously? The answer to that is that it downloads everything at the start, there's no asynchronous loading as it cycles through the slides... so I'd say that this is likely NOT the plugin for someone who wishes to have a slider populated with 100 images (because downloading all those images would have to occur first, before the slider starts.)

The use case I developed this for was for a promotional site that had anywhere from 3-10 slides. And by "slides", what I mean is that sometimes it'd be just a single image (graphic designer stuff), other times it'd be text/HTML/CSS (developed by some in-house ninjas). And I appreciate your thoughts, I definitely have no problem admitting that the documentation I've provided is utterly insufficient. If only there were more hours in the day!
