strange error ... about capistrano-rails-console HOT 3 CLOSED

I guess you have a capistrano task (yourself or through another gem) that detects your rbenv environment and that for some reason this check is run the the local backend (https://github.com/capistrano/sshkit/blob/master/lib/sshkit/backends/local.rb).
If that is not the case maybe the opposite is the case, a task that detects the remote rbenv environment is not executed before trying to ssh into your server.

Can you verify that there is a task that detects your rbenv env? Setting the log level to debug might help to see what is happening before the console ssh session is established.
