VMWare Workstation, new & shiny Ubuntu Desktop/Server 12.04 (tested on both).
done:
- Added tank to the sources
deb http://mirror.yandex.ru/mirrors/tank common main
deb http://mirror.yandex.ru/mirrors/tank precise main
- Launched command
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install yandex-load-tank-base
Results were percise'ly like Stamm's :)

Incredible. What about this way:
wget http://mirror.yandex.ru/mirrors/tank/common/all/yandex-load-tank-base_0.1.7_all.deb
sudo dpkg -i yandex-load-tank-base_0.1.7_all.deb
? I did it successfully moment ago.
