We are now throwing an error when width or height equals zero.

I tried to reproduce the issue but could not get the same error as you: https://codesandbox.io/s/happy-hooks-h65s2?file=/src/App.js
Even if the parent container has no height and width, the graph does not throw errors in my case.
Can you give some more information on your setup or source code?
