@patriksh
@PrawyCoD1
@riicchhaarrd
I'm sorry for having said you are lazy, we just don't share the same interest, that's not the same
And I can understand you don't want to give me access to the repo

cant fix that

raphael12333 avatar raphael12333 commented on August 27, 2024

@PrawyCoD1 By cant do you mean it is not possible, or you don't know how to achieve this?
Anyway this issue could be closed as not planned instead of completed

This issue could have been named "The non-sensitive codes are privatized too", like for the client part

E.g. I would be interested to compare your version of the download stuck issue fix, with the one of my fork, since this issue is not fully fixed probably for you either, I mean the client downloading same files multiple times under some circumstances
Probably because sending a deprecated gamestate

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

@riicchhaarrd could you add me as an xtnded member?

I'm not interested in the download exploit usage for ingame installation anymore
I'm not interested in having access to the distributed 1.1x startup updates

What I want is to have the access to update the server and the client repositories, and the wikis, and maybe adding new releases

I ask imagining you didn't see my messages at xtnded.org, otherwise i would not ask

No. You're free to send in a pull request though.

I thought about making pull requests but I noticed that Prawy's latest pull requests did not get answered
I struggle to understand how you xtnded members are organized
But what I understand is that the only remaining member willing to work on CoD is Prawy
We tried to work together, we had a Discord group with Defected, but it did not match between us, I ended up just waiting for my source codes to be tested for publishing, but they kept getting ignored, so I left the group

Now I mostly think my motivation and my caring are just not compatible with the xtnded organization

If ? means what pull requests are you talking about, I'm talking about #16 and #17

Anyway now I know I paid much more attention than it deserved, you guys are welcome to stay afraid and lazy with your mess
I wish you strength, bye

I don't quite understand what is the point of all this.
We said we don't have time for this anymore and gave you access to the private repositories as requested, so you may continue working on the project. But you decided to leave because we're lazy?
Then you made a fork and archived it, now you want to contribute directly here?

Do whatever you want man, but maybe blame the others a bit less?

Anyways, the interest from third parties in the project is basically non-existent so there's probably also no point in maintaining two separate repos.

I don't quite understand what is the point of all this.

Then I guess you don't understand the cause of this either:

the interest from third parties in the project is basically non-existent

There is no cause dude this game is dead no one cares about it, no one cares about making pull requests for dead game and if someone would like to don't know how to code and rev eng. The only one spamming about pull requests is you

raphael12333 avatar raphael12333 commented on August 27, 2024

this game is dead no one cares about it

This is not true
Every day, some Latinos, Asians and Europeans enjoy this game

if someone would like to don't know how to code

People can learn, to provide fixes and new features, like I did last year

The only one spamming about pull requests is you

I don't spam about pull requests

please end of discussion
