Related to #583 (KotOR2, which I got working).
When comparing the probe.cpp for KotOR and kotor2, Kotor2 will try to detect the required folders (MacOS, Resources, and GameData). Kotor will just look for an app bundle. If you keep your game data separate, it will probably fail to detect the game. (I have tried selecting my MAS app bundle, but detection also failed).
Regarding the missing cursors folder, there is a root folder called AspyrAssets/global which contains Font, String and WinCursor folders.
Edit: There is also a Resources/Fonts folder with an .otf file which is likely required
from xoreos.

Can you give me an output of tree of the unmodified root game folder? Just straight up everything that belongs to the game right after installing.
