Took a look - the bindings build fine for me with libxml 2.10.3 on Linux and Windows. Note that the xpointer code only compiles if LIBXML_XPTR_ENABLED is enabled.
LIBXML_XPTR_ENABLED is true on Fedora 37, and I see the deprecation, but the symbol exists and the bindings compile.
Seems like on your machine that flag is enabled in libxml, but libxlm is not exporting xmlXPtrNewRangeNodes?
