What you can do is use a XLFormDescriptorCell with XLFormRowDescriptorTypeButton type and override -(void)didSelectFormRow:(XLFormRowDescriptor *)formRow method of XLFormViewController . Don't forget to call super implementation.

You should check the XLFormRowDescriptor tag property in order to know if the selected row is your button.

Here an example of how to add a button.

        XLFormRowDescriptor * button = [XLFormRowDescriptor formRowDescriptorWithTag:kButtonTag rowType:XLFormRowDescriptorTypeButton];
        deleteButtonDescriptor.title = @"button title");
        [deleteButtonDescriptor.cellConfig setObject:[UIColor greenColor] forKey:@"textLabel.textColor"];
        [section addFormRow:deleteButtonDescriptor];
