That's a good question- the examples folder is getting a little bloated.

Let me think about it over the weekend. I might end up leaving the simple examples, and starting a repo with the more complicated ones.

Also, I know that you can convert locally through GDAL, but I really, really want to avoid dependency creep for Vincent. Right now its limited to Pandas and Requests (if you want to do conversions), and I've thought about removing the absolute Pandas dependency by only importing if a DataFrame or Series is passed.

I was thinking that example scripts could automatically pull data in from that repo...
If a offline user would explicitly name a path to it.
Thus all are served cheaply.
