I think I've a similar issue, in that running tests in a random order (as configured in the XML in my case: executionOrder="random"), is not honored.

That's weird.

Both issues are not supposed to happen. If we look at the TextUI/Command.php class in the handleArguments method, which we did not override, we clearly see that the presence of options or of a configuration file is checked 🤔

I am curious to know if @Jerome1337 still has the issue.
