not really. You can implement it easily using label templates. No need for the tree control to provide this specific functionality, what more that it will interfere with whatever you wanna do with labels.

I also want this functionality, but how to implement it with label templates I don't get it from where I need start.

I wrote a sample jsfiddle using a custom directive to attach jquery ui draggable/droppable behaviors to node elements created by custom templates.

Using jquery ui is not mandatory, maybe you can stick to native DOM events. The position logic may not be necessary if you don't need reordering inside children
Supports only a single root node (which is not droppable) and will probably mess up if you try to drop a node inside one of its descendant
