WiND error: Cannot find Smarty lib. Please check config.php ... about wind HOT 9 CLOSED

Can you please give some extra information.

• What version of WiND do you use?
• You used the embedded installer or did you follow a manual installation
• Did this happened after an upgrade? And if yes, from which version to which?
• Are you sure you are using version 2 of Smarty library? (it is not compatible with 3)

Finally the configuration must point to the main smarty class file. Example of working configuration is:

'smarty' => 
  array (
    'class' => '/opt/lib/Smarty2/libs/Smarty.class.php',
  ),

I installed it a hour ago.....and had to install smarty as well but i am not sure where it went wrong I installed smarty 3 then 2 but different directories

Which version did you install? The installer checks for correct version of Smarty, did this step worked?

I can not get the version but i downloaded the zip from this page and did the manual install

You downloaded the under development which it is nice to test it. However it is better to start with the stable that we know doesn't suffer from any problem with Smarty. Please reinstall WiND using version v1.0.1 from https://github.com/wind-project/wind/releases/tag/v1.0.1 and check if the problem persist.
