analysis-of-air-bnb-data

Data analysis of Air BnB data in Barcelona and London using a subset of data investigated by Gyódi, K., & Nawaro, Ł. Generalised Linear Models have been fitted to examine weekend price differences and how price changes between the two cities.

gillespie-stochastic-system-simulation

Code to simulate a stochastic system using the Gillespie algorithm with comparisons to the mean field model and steady state analysis.

matrix-completion-on-x-ray-image

A project performing gradient descent and stochastic average gradient descent for matrix completion. The algorithms are tested on some synthetic data before being used on downscaled real X-ray absorption data from a spectromicroscopy experiment. The algorithms' behaviours and outputs are examined in the report.
