Oh, oops. I forgot it's a private repo.
Attaching a screenshot to help show the discrepancy. Left = Safari, Right = Chrome. The headline is supposed to be font-weight 700.

Does this happen when the fonts are installed? Uninstalling them can help,
sometimes Chrome gets font families wrong

Oh, hi @davelab6!!! Funny seeing you here!
Installing/uninstalling the font didn't seem to be the cause. One person didn't install it locally but was still seeing the rendering discrepancies. Another person and I both had it installed but I was seeing the discrepancy; he wasn't.
We may have figured out the problem. Looks like we didn't explicitly import the weights, only the font family :(
