Can you view the feed inside your browser to make sure it's correct ? Go to your wallabag instance, then in config, select Feeds>unread.
If articles display well inside wallabag web interface, it's nothing to do with tidy enabled or not.

Yeah, just as I thought, this is what we've seen here for iOS.
The fix is not yet released, but you can make it work yourself by editing a file as shown here : https://github.com/wallabag/wallabag/pull/715/files
It's very simple to do, so please don't be afraid. ;)
You just have to add the green line into the file as shown (without the "+")
